Exhibition

The international cartoon award KAKTUS was announced for the first time this year.
Professional cartoonists were invited to submit their best work on climate change and climate justice.

Cartoons are an important and effective tool to point out political or social grievances. The works are easy to understand, get to the heart of complex issues visually and can also entertain through a humorous and exaggerated presentation.

The exhibition shows a selection of the best cartoons from over 1,700 submissions by more than 500 cartoonists from over 80 countries. Whether from China or the USA, India, Russia or Ukraine, Iran, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia or Africa – the climate moves us all and together we can achieve a lot!
